Leif Nyberg is the founder of and runs the company. He has 30-year long experience of banking operation, both as a specialist, senior adviser and in various managerial positions. He has a background as lawyer but is a versatile person with key competences within credit and corporate governance, the financial market and its framework.
Leif is well-known and a reputable name in the banking industry, especially within the credit area. He has during five years been deputy Chief Credit Officer in Swedbank Group and before that a long period as Head of Governance & Framework, a department having the responsibility for development and maintenance of credit governance and internal framework within Swedbank Group. This gives the opportunity to offer a broad spectrum of counselling, guidance and support within the corporate governance area in general, but especially within credit risk governance and credit risk management.
As a part of his roles and responsibilities he has also a long-standing experience of communication and collaboration with Swedish FSA and other authorities, such as EBA and ECB, and among others he was invited as speaker at the Swedish FSA forum 2018 regarding new regulations on credit risk management. Furthermore, Leif has a broad experience of working in an international environment, both internally and externally, for example as a representative in European Savings Bank Group (ESBG). ESBG is an association located in Brussels and represents and supports savings bank and other retail banks in 21 European countries. We can therefore manage assignments both in Swedish and English.
Leif Nyberg has through many years in several managerial positions and heading and participating in various management teams and steering committees obtained a proven competence in leadership and leadership development. “A cornerstone in my leadership is to give and assume responsibility and a guiding star is development of the activities and the co-workers”. By that means, we are able to offer leadership trainings and mentorship assignments.
Moreover, Leif has practise and experience of competence sharing and leading training and educational sessions. Among others he has been a teacher in internal educations for local credit managers, business managers etc. and been lecturer at “UC Forum” and the yearly Forum for Swedish Lawyers. “I believe in and support personal development through adoption of new challenges and active competence sharing“.
